Doune DuckDoune Gala Duck Race – Sunday 17th June

The ducks will make their way from the Castle Pool to The Pier, starting at 2pm.  First, second and third prizes of £50/£30/£20 with lots of runners-up prizes and a booby prize for the last duck past the line!  Great prizes, great fun – “ducks” for sale at the Gala Day.

The whole event is hosted by Doune Gala Committee.  The main purpose of the Gala is to raise money to give our senior citizens a Christmas party, but it also costs a fair bit to run the event every year!

Gala Day provides the opportunity for many local groups and businesses to raise funds for their own specific causes whilst giving everyone in the village a fun day out!
