There's a whole host of great cycling routes to be had in and around the beautiful countryside around Doune and Deanston. Whether you're a sole rider or looking for something for the whole family click here to find out more.
It all began with the Doune Primary School Active Travel Plan (DPSATP). With over ten thousand pounds of funding from Sustrans and Tactrans we purchased and installed a large cycle shelter and cycle racks for up to forty three bikes to encourage more cycling to and from Doune primary school and Doune nursery throughout the whole year.
Read more: The wheels are turningThere is to be a concert in the Rural Hall on the 8th May. This will be the first appearance of a new group of Peter Wesley's, the Doune Wind Sextet. The Doune Bassoon Quartet will also be on the same agenda.
